Simple Freight Solutions Inc. was founded on July 21st, 2008. It was the realization of a dream, inspired by advice from my father. My father was a manager for British Airways in Cargo Building 66 at John F. Kennedy International Airport. I grew up with a fascination and love of airplanes, especially the Concorde. From a young age I knew I wanted to work in the Transportation Logistics field. I began my career on the freight forwarding side of the Logistics industry, and after six years moved to the corporate side as an importer and exporter. With these experiences came a desire to do more and do better within the industry. Words my father spoke to me propelled me forward: “Son you are better off going through life as a ‘has-been’ rather than a ‘never-was’. You have nothing to lose. Start your own business.” This advice inspired me to make my dream a reality. I began applying for individual licenses from my spare-bedroom home office, building a foundation for Simple Freight Solutions one block at a time. Within the first five years of the founding of SFS, I moved the company five times to accommodate our continuous growth. Over the years I have selectively chosen to add members to my SFS team who believe in my vision and share my passion and core values. I am proud of our team, and what SFS is and has become.
